I have never been a person who uses a lot of products on my skin because of all the chemicals companies add to their products. After all, our skin is our largest organ and whatever we put on it we soak it up into our bloodstream. I like using coconut oil on my skin and use it on my kids after their baths, but sometimes I think my hands get to rough for just coconut oil to work.
We all know that there is no worse feeling than having dry hands especially in the winter and going to bed with dry feet, I hate thinking about it. I hate it! I’m not sure about you, but I love taking hot showers and I could stand in the water until our well ran dry. Literally! This may be why my skin becomes so dry. So what better way to fix the problem? Why not make my own body butter with lavender essential oil!
I love using this body butter right after I get out of the shower and dry off. It helps lock in moisture and my skin soaks it right up and becomes so smooth and soft. Also, lavender essential oil is great for relaxation I hope you enjoy it as much as my family and I do.

Ingredients
1 half pint container with lid
3 Tbs. beeswax (Order Here)
1 Tbs. + ½ tsp. coconut oil
¼ cup + 1 Tbs. shea butter, unrefined (Order Here)
½ Tbs. sweet almond oil, cold press (Order Here)
3-4 drops of desired essential oil
Directions
In a small sauce pan on medium-low heat add beeswax, coconut oil and shea butter. Let all ingredients melt. Once melted add into jar. Now add the almond oil and essential oil and mix. Let it solidify before using.
Note: I like to stir once it has solidified. Also, less beeswax may be used for a softer butter.
