Ranch dressing is one of those things, you either love or hate. As for me, I don’t like it and therefore, will not use it. Kevin loves to use it on chicken wings, pizza, salads and etc. I am glad that he gets enjoyment out of something so simple and tasteful (to him). This is his recipe that he came up with all on his own! That’s one of the many things I love about him, he helps in the kitchen and helps with making up new recipes. I keep telling him every time he comes up with something new we will have to put it in our cookbook. I hope that someday we can take the time to write a cookbook, but for now I will stick to blogging!
Since we started eating cleaner he has given up on buying processed pre-bottled ranch dressing altogether. Which to be honest, I am so glad he did because it’s not healthy and second it is full of unnecessary ingredients that he doesn’t need. This is very easy to whip up and can be used on anything you would typically use ranch on. This recipe makes ¾ of a cup.
Ingredients
¼ cup mayo, vegan
½ cup plain yogurt
¼ tsp. fresh dill
½ tsp. basil
½ garlic powder
½ tsp. oregano
1 dash salt to taste
1 dash pepper to taste
½ tsp. lemon juice
Directions
Mix all ingredients together in a bowl, keep chilled. Enjoy!
Yum for sure! I love ranch dressing so much but I avoid the store bought because most have MSG ! Your recipe sounds wonderful 🙂

Yes, sadly MSG is in a lot of things. Let me know if you try It! Would love to know what you think of it.
